1980's Wedding Trends Are Back!

In an article recently, The New York Times compared this year’s weddings to those of the 1980’s. Wedding Inspiration: Disco Balls!

To me, nothing says, “let’s get together and party” quite like the disco ball! Light magically reflects off the disco ball, spinning and sparkling about the room. It’s a classic 70s party trick that constantly “wows” guests on the dance floor. From their incredible dance floor potential to Ivy Getty’s wedding dress, disco balls are the wedding trend of the moment! We are thrilled that our clients have incorporated disco balls into their weddings in the most fun and creative ways! Check them out below:

REAL WEDDING: Abigail and David at Saint Elle

This past spring, architect and all-around-great gal, Abigail married David in a celebration that was sleek and stylish. We hope to see more designs like this emulated in 2022! These two weren't afraid of color, steering from the traditional (yes! Let's add cut fruit to the centerpieces!), custom built furniture, and flipping the traditional layout of the venue on it's head! (They utilized the traditional Ceremony space for Dinner, and the traditional Dinner space for Cocktails! Get it!). We love these two and their creative minds! 2022 goals y'all!
