Nashville Wedding Planners Group: Design Challenge 2023
Lauren here! Founder of The Get Together Events and also, Membership Chair of the Nashville Wedding Planners Group!
The Nashville Wedding Planners Group is an application only group of the top wedding planners in Nashville. I’ve been honored to be part of the group for the last four years!
And just recently, NWPG hosted my favorite event of the season- the Design Challenge! All of our members are divided into teams, and we collaborate together with some of our favorite vendors to make the most thematic and dramatic tables ever. It is such a joy to let our creative hearts fly and see where they go! We then invite our community and everyone gets to vote for their favorites in an array of categories.
This year, the theme was the seasons- with a table for Winter, Spring, Summer, and Fall.
While every table won in at least one category, my team, team Fall, won best overall and I couldn’t be more proud! We went with an “elevated forage” theme with food, mushrooms, and wild overflowing bounties surrounding the table. (and yes, the baguette placecards were each a character from Gilmore Girls, a favorite extra touch!)
What a joy it is to get to work with these talented planners and vendors. I can’t wait for next year and whatever new theme is coming our way!
