REAL WEDDING: Dillon + Stephen at the Prospect Park Boathouse
Dillon and Stephen got married in May of 2022 at the Prospect Park Boathouse. Their wedding showcased their love and devotion to each other and their community in an iconic Brooklyn affair! It was a definite highlight of my spring season so take this little trip down memory lane with me!
Guests were welcomed into Prospect Park with a cold brew coffee cart off the back of a tricycle (!!) as well as a glass of welcome prosecco from a mini bar cart as they arrived to the Boathouse (SO COOL Wandering Wheels!). While wedding planning, Dillon and Stephen came across the Kidwell Sisters singing jazz standards in Washington Square Park. This iconic NY Park moment was exactly what they wanted for their own iconic NY Park wedding! An absolutely perfect touch! The Kidwell Sisters sang beautifully from guest arrival through Cocktail Hour and were a delightful hit! It started to drizzle in the middle of their Ceremony, but with a few umbrellas and the sweetest vows, the rain only added to the romance! Plus, with dreamy florals from Kraft and Co, it was romantic vibes throughout! Instead of Table Numbers, Dillon and Stephen named each table places that were meaningful to them and their relationship. Every detail of the decor had a personal touch such as this, that made the whole wedding a true reflection of them and their community. After enjoying the incredible food from Purslane, DJ James Mulry set off an epic dance party! It was a perfect night, fit for a perfect couple!!
